Mayor Ma of Taipei:
Honor the Boycott of Golden Bridge Restaurant!

For over a year, 318 Restaurant Workers Union (RWU) workers and the Justice Will Be Served! campaign have been picketing to demand that the Golden Bridge Restaurant end their blacklisting, slanders and threats against the union workers and hire them immediately.

Now the Chinatown Consolidated Benevolence Association (CCBA) is crossing the picket line to hold a function at Golden Bridge for Ma Ying-Jeou, mayor of Taipei, Taiwan and current Chairman of the Taiwanese Kuomintang Party (KMT). Although the CCBA refuses to move the event, we have contacted Mayor Ma and are asking him to honor the workers’ struggle by not attending. We also ask everyone who supports workers’ rights to join us.

PICKET
MONDAY MARCH 20, 2006

6pm-8:30pm
50 Bowery in front of
Golden Bridge Restaurant
Just below the corner of Canal and Bowery
You can also call/fax/e-mail Mayor Ma to express your support for the
boycott and demand that he not attend the event.
